Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley - Coliseum Block
This wine opens up with an explosion of Swiss blackcurrant pastilles, vaulted by spicy wood. The palate has a substantial graphite core, displaying the flavor profile and tannin structure indicative of its rocky, high-elevation terroir. With flavors of cassis, dark plum and crushed violets, this wine is a perfect showcase of this historic vineyard block.
Estate Red Blend Napa Valley
This blend of Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon is a fruity, finessed expression of the Hossfeld Estate. A rich, velvety purple in the glass, this mountain blend delivers the intoxicating flowery perfume of Malbec wedded with the sumptuous decadence of Cabernet Sauvignon. Finely woven tannins, the pertness of pomegranate and the structure of mountain fruit, this compelling wine shows the synergy of hillside varietals.
Estate Merlot Napa Valley
Fresh with aromas of blackberry and the rocky manzanita of Napa chaparral, our Merlot defines the history of Hossfeld. Graphite, coffee grounds and the site’s warm volcanic rock come together to deliver an intensely linear wine, fully alive and full bodied, elevated while rich. A beauty with grit and finesse, our Merlot takes the varietal back to its mountain roots.
